The Monument bookstore on Norodom Blvd has an excellent selection of Cambodia -related books, travel guides as well as a general selection of fiction, non-fiction and children’s books. D’s Books on Street 240 (and other locations) has the best collection of used books in Phnom Penh, offering Cambodia/SEA-related books, lots of fiction, non-fiction and a good selection of children’s books. There are several Khmer-language newspapers. The Cambodia Daily and Phnom Penh Post are the local English-language newspapers. Both papers as well as international magazines and newspapers such as the Bangkok Post and the Straights Times are available from Monument Books, Caltex StarMarts and street sellers near Lucky Market and along the riverfront.
