The old Independence Hotel. Built in the early 60s when Sihanoukville was beginning to boom. She was open on and off after the war, but it was neglected and became run down and almost unusable. It was resurrected briefly during UNTAC but after the UN left it was abandoned once again. Currently undergoing a major reconstruction project. |
