riel/minute and domestic long-distance is $1/min. Most of the
Internet places offer very inexpensive Internet phone (international
500-1000 riel/minute.) All of the big hotels, most of the Internet
shops, many of the guesthouses and the all GPO offer telephone
service.
Telephoning
Cambodian telephone numbers are sometimes listed beginning with a ‘0’ (063-000000) When dialing domestically, it is necessary to dial the entire number including the ‘0’ at the beginning. When dialing internationally to Cambodia, use the country code but exclude the ‘0’ (855-63-000000). When making an international call from Cambodia, precede the phone number with ‘177,’
'153' or '001' (177-662-251-0000).
Internet/E-Mail
Internet in Siem Reap is inexpensive and widely available at
Internet shops and cafes all over town as well as at most hotels and
guesthouses and many restaurants and bars. Prices at the internet
shops average about $1/hour. Hotels and restaurants with wifi
internet often offer access free for guests, though downloads may be
limited. Some charge a minimal fee or have an Online Hotspot,
requiring that you purchase a PIC card for access, but the access is
fast and unlimited and can be used at places all over town. See the restaurant

Shipping Services
If you want to ship your souvenirs home, there are several
international package/parcel services in town that can assist.
Shipping is not inexpensive, ranging from $50-$100/kg for small
parcels to as little as $10/kg for very large parcels, but almost
any size can be accommodated. Ask about special rates. Shipping
services can also assist with customs clearance and export papers if
necessary.
